About Job

Our client is a 63 room hotel based in Kakamega, Kenya. They are looking to hire a general manager to start as soon as possible.

Responsiblities

• Responsible to the day to day running of the facility


• Set and meet daily/monthly targets


• Motivate staff to meet the set targets


• Must keep the facility in clean and good condition


• Should be able to bring in new businesses.

Qualifications

• Mature person of age range of 35-55 years and preferably married


• Diploma as the minimum qualification


• Working experience of at least 5 years in a similar capacity


• Must be ready to grow with us


• Proven experience in a managerial role


• Strong decision-making capabilities


• Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills


• Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans


• Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
