SACCO Manager

Key Responsibilities

Supervise all staff including those from out of Nairobi that are based in other towns. Manage the Society’s budget ensuring spending is in line with overall budget.Monitor key performance areas and ensure all targets are met.Review and implement internal systems and controls to improve quality service.Oversee payroll administration.In liaison with the procurement committee, ensure delivery of high quality services.Monitor the credit portfolio and give reports to the CMC.Conduct half yearly appraisal of the staff together with the Secretary of the society.Execute the strategic plan.Organise monthly meetings, record minutes and follow up on agreed action plans.Prepare balance score card for the staff.Perform 3rd appraisal of all loans before sending to the credit committee.Follow up on legal cases and initiation of any after approval by the CMC.A graduate of Cooperative College with a DiplomaMinimum of CPA (K) certificateAny management course or certificateMust have worked for at least 5 years in a similar position or as an Accountant in a Sacco.Age between 25 and 35years.Computer literate with a minimum of 4 packages (Quick Books is a must)Fluent in spoken and written EnglishRemuneration

Monthly gross salary of 40,000-42,000/= shillings per month.
