Position: Project Manager - ICT

Type: Contract (March - December 2012)

Summary

The successful candidate shall be responsible for successful implementation of IT system for all our core lines of business.

Key Responsibilities

Build and manage Project documents.Manage the participation of all Project stakeholders.Ensure the effective control of Project and Project changes.Create a software quality assurance plan for the project, proper usage of existing intellectual property and update quality project deliverables.Manage timescales and resource requirements.Track and manage application requirements.Document relevant business, functional and non-functional requirements.The identification and management of project risks and issuesMonitor costs, timescales and resources used.Project Management documentation templates.Project assurance and review methods.Degree or Diploma in computer science, commerce or business administration.Recognised project management qualification/certification e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP).Minimum 8 years professional experienceMinimum 4 years PM experiencePosition: Actuarial Officer

Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head of Finance for management and financial accounting with respect to quality actuarial input a valuations and development, design, maintenance, enhancement and pricing of Apollo life’s products.

Key Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities will require from the successful candidate to:

Reserving calculationsActuarial liabilitiesAnalysis of actuarial surplus and actuarial liabilitiesCapital adequacy requirementsProducing projections for budgeting and model office purposes for new product developmentVarious statutory returns and other compliance-related tasksAsset-liability matching processBonus investigation for making bonus recommendationsLiaison with statutory actuary on year-end actuarial valuationsDeveloping models and other modelling requirements for products Product strategies for new ventures and business partnershipsOrganise surveys from different segments of customers for new and existing productsBachelors Degree Actuarial Science/Studying towards completion of Actuarial Qualification/Qualified Actuary.2 to 4 years experience (with respect to the above responsibilities) in individual life insurance, group a credit life insurance, pension a annuitiesGeneral understanding financial accountingPosition: Head of Individual life Insurance Business

Summary

Reporting to the C.E.O., the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the individual life insurance business line which includes product development & delivery, production, operational efficiency, customer service and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to meet set targetsOversee processing of underwriting, proposal/policy administration and reinsuranceSupervise timely payment of claims and reinsurance reconciliationEnsure all customer queries are promptly addressedEnsure that the agency force is continuously well trained with requisite skills.Development of new products and enhancement of existing productsSupport local marketing activities and integrate with all Company public relations activitiesReview on market and competitor activitiesAdminister branch activitiesExecutive management reportsCompliance to the regulatory any other legal requirementsB.comm degree (marketing option preferred). Position: Business Development Manager

Reports to: C.E.O

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing the group life, credit life and pensions business portfolio of Apollo Life.

He/she will be responsible for strategy, growth, and profitability of the group life, credit life & pensions business portfolio by ensuring delivery of the set targets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Sell the Company’s range of group life, credit life & pensions products to corporate clients directly and through insurance brokers & independent agents,
* Recruit, train, develop and manage a team of direct sales agents of the Company
* Build relationships with insurance brokers, independent agents and corporate clients.
* Work closely with the business development team of the Company’s related insurance company so as to develop strong business synergies within the group,

The Ideal candidate should have:

* Three years corporate marketing experience in the insurance industry.
* Be able to clearly exhibit to the Company on his/her past 3 years group life, credit life and pensions business production directly and through insurance brokers, direct sales agents & independent agents
* The ability to prospect and network in a defined market, and to market the Company’s products.
* Integrity, honesty and a high degree of professionalism.
* Excellent all-level communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum requirements:

* Graduate from a recognised University.
* ACII

Position: Dealer /Analyst Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Purpose of the position
To facilitate timely, ethical and professional execution of investment decisions to global accepted standards.

The role holder will also maintain and drive research analysis for both Fixed Income and Equity instruments

Duties/Responsibilities
