Reporting to the Director of Nursing Education, the successful candidate’s main responsibility will include but not limited to:
 1. Tutor - Critical Care Training
Provide theoretical and clinical instructions to students mainly in critical careEnsure high standards of performance and good mastery of critical care skillsOffer guidance and counselling to promote discipline and a good learning environmentDevelop and review curricula in line with Nursing Council requirementsDevelop and coordinate extra curriculum activities for studentsEnsure proper management and efficient use of resourcesPrepare learning materials and maintain student’s records and registers.BSc Nursing or KRN/KRM with an all round nursing working experience of 6 yearsDiploma in Critical Care TrainingCertificate or Diploma in guidance and counselling2. Clinical Instructor - Critical Care Training Conduct students assessments periodically to establish level of proficiency and recommend remedial measures where necessaryCoordinate clinical presentation to assist students achieve critical thinkingPrepare and facilitate new students orientation program to settle them at the shortest time possibleConduct informal market surveys to identify training needs within the Health Sector and advice the DNELiaise with the DNE in preparing a training curricula to meet the training needs identified in the Sector in line with the Nursing Council requirementsHelp in marketing existing programmesKRN/M or KRCHN holderMinimum five (5) years experience in nursing practiceDiploma in Critical Care TrainingReporting to the Chief Pharmacist, the successful candidate’s main responsibility will include but not limited to:
 Scrutinize prescriptions for accuracy and suitability.Ensure timely and accurate posting of pharmacy transactionsCounsel patients appropriately.Providing accurate drug information.Ensure optimal stock replenishment.Participates in quarterly stock take exercise.Participates in formulation and implementation of hospital policies on drug use.Participates in activities of quality management system & PTC.Participating in giving Continuous Medical Education in relation to drug use in clinical areas.Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.Registered with the Pharmacy & Poisons Board.A valid Practicing License.Computer literate.At least 2 years working experience in a busy establishmentTo be considered for the above positions candidate must demonstrate the following:
Good communication and writing skills, knowledgeable and well versed with latest trends in relevant field, ability to lead, guide and counsel, good critical and analytical skills, self drive and a team player.

Lecturer – Critical Care Nursing
Ref: HRD/LEC/05/11

Reporting to the Principal, School of Nursing, the successful candidate will take a lead role in developing competent nurses by providing integration of nursing theory and practice in the Bachelor of Science, Kenya Registered Nursing (KRN), other basic and post–basic nursing education programmes.

Particular Responsibilities Include:

Participating in curriculum development and reviewConducting theoretical and practical training.Organising lesson plans and teaching resources for learning programmes.Setting, moderating, administering and marking examinationsParticipating in recruitment of students.Supervising students in both classroom and clinical set-up.Providing guidance and counselling to students.Participating in the development and review of procedures, policies and standards.Contributing to research, publication and professional conferences and workshops.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
