We are seeking to recruit young, energetic, results oriented and qualified Rose grower of
unquestionable integrity to join our team and share our progressive approach to business.
Based at our farm in Naivasha, the Senior Rose Grower will be responsible for general planning of respective Rose farm unit in order to achieve set productivity and efficiency levels.
Responsibilities will include:-consult with the Head of Production or equivalent on local-external orders for approval to go ahead with productiontranslate departmental plans into workable sectional planscommunicate with internal and external clients and manage modalities of production and deliveriesmanage production process and deliver modalitiesmeet set production budgetforecast crops within defined tolerance levelcontrol expenditure within set budgetassist in selection of Rosesidentify new and improve operating systems so as to maximize production and reduce costThe ideal candidate must demonstrate strong understanding of Rose production management, with excellent communication and presentation skills and shall have the following minimum qualifications:-Hold a degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from reputable University with minimum 10 years progressive relevant experience gained working as a Rose ManagerExcellent analytical and managerial skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a teamHighly effective planning and organizational skills with a positive attitudeInterested but qualified candidates should apply attaching a CV and supporting documents to the undersigned so as to be received not later than 26th January, 2015.

A dynamic fresh produce grower and export company requires an accounts assistant to strengthen the accounts and finance function.

Candidate should have a growing base of experience in accounting, where business savvy, accuracy and attention to detail is required.

This is an opportunity to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibility.

Place of work would be off the Mombasa Road close to JKIA.

Reports to: Finance Manager

Requirements

Growing base of 3 years plus experience in accounting and finance and the preparation of financial statements in a reputable company, ideally in production or horticultureIn the process of completing, or completed a qualification like CPA(K) or ACCAIdeally have knowledge of Sage accounting software or any other combined with strong ICT skillsBusiness sense of understanding what the numbers mean from a commercial operational perspectiveAppreciation of management and cost accounting and being able to realise what the key drivers of performance are in the businessHave good organisation and administrative skills, attention to detail and capable of meeting strict deadlinesAbsolute honesty combined with and energetic "can do" attitude to work and ability to work as part of a teamRemuneration

Gross salary would be between Kshs 20,000-30,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
