The Harambee Stars Management Board (HSMB) was appointed by the Hon. Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports to manage and run the affairs of the national men’s football team, Harambee Stars, with effect from 20th December 2010.

The Board’s Mission is to take Harambee Stars to the World Cup 2014.

The Board wishes to recruit a capable dynamic person to be the Chief Executive Officer of Harambee Stars team and act as the Board Secretary.

Responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer:

Logistical / Infrastructure management of the teamFinancial management of Harambee StarsLiaison with the National Football Association and the Management of the Technical bench.Work together with the Technical Team for improved performanceManagement of players’ welfareA graduate from a recognized university with at least 10 (ten) years of management experience at a senior levelA person with excellent financial management skillsA person of the highest integrity, respectability and unquestionable ethical standardsA person with excellent analytical, planning, management and reporting skillsA person with excellent and proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skillsMature, resourceful person who is a self starterComputer literatePassionate about sports and soccer in particularA competitive pay package will be offered to the successful candidate.
