• Responsible for roll up of multi-billion dollar Deal Pipeline across all business in sub-Saharan Africa and understanding of key deal status
• Ownership of monitoring commercial status of key deals with business and GE Africa commercial leaders and engaging in any roadblock resolution as necessary to ensure timeliness of deal closure
• Work with GG&O commercial leadership to identify and monitor incremental growth
• Develop and own Commercial Pulse / QMI process for revenue and orders over $1B across GE Africa by engaging with local and HQ FP&A teams
• Provide finance support to multiple commercial growth leaders in addition to large team of commercial development and regional sales managers
• Provide Finance support for Africa Capital Markets team by supporting pipeline visibility, deal structuring
• Ownership and management of Commercial Intelligence COE managed by 3rd party service provider
• Management of multiple Finance resources (FMP) located across the region (East – Kenya, South – South Africa, West – Ghana)
• Support the GE Africa GPB /S2 roll up and story board
• Support CEO and CFO with data analysis to drive business decisions
• Support CEO & CFO with external and internal communication
• Review business case on strategic imperatives (e.g. NPI) for GE Africa
• Finance point of contact for all Commercial GE Africa HQ requests/analysis• Chartered Accountant, MBA or equivalent
• 8+ years’ work experience in finance/accounting with 5+ years in FP&A (preferable)
• CAS/FMP background added advantage
• Proven interpersonal abilities
• Good PC skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
• Sharp, high energy, results-driven, solution-oriented, focused and motivated, with solid decision-making capability
• Excellent analytical skills
• Effective and decisive under pressure
• Small team management / Supervisory experience
• Possesses the confidence and presence to interact at senior management levels
• Demonstrated ability to influence others, both directly and indirectly, and to operate effectively in a matrixed environment
