Veterinary Assistant/Sales Assistant

Key Duties

Diagnosing ailments in animalsAdministering animal medicationEngage veterinary customers in all sales related activitiesGrow veterinary customer base by ensuring that customer issues are handled promptlyCheck and advice on expiry of drugs and disposal of the sameEnsure proper management and maintenance of recordsPerform stock take, order and maintain suppliesEnsure the store is kept clean at all timesEnsure accurate positing of drugs in the system and on drug shelvesEnsure drugs are removed according to invoicesEnsure timely removal of orders with zero errorsPerform any other duty that may be assigned by the management.Certificate/Diploma in Veterinary TrainingMUST have at least 1 year work experience as a Veterinary assistant/veterinaryExcellent organization skillsGood communication skills Knowledge of Pharmacore will be an added advantage(Salary: Ksh.12,000 – 15,000)

Key Duties

Receiving of payments and ensuring that all receipts are properly and promptly receipted in the systemsPetty cash float maintenance, related document retention and proper filingPosting and reconciliation of cash expenses via petty cash accountsPrepare the unpaid cash invoices report and submission of the same to the accounts receivables for follow upsMaking sure banking is done at the appropriate time everyday and keeping a physical record of the same indicating the time, the amount banked, where I banked and by whomMaintain effective communication with colleagues, both junior and seniorIt shall be the role of the cashier to update the finance manager on any cash variances on the petty cashEnsure all  records are up to date, well stored and easily retrievableEnsure accurate and timely daily, weekly and monthly, reportsEnsure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of record on petty cash are accurate  and expenses utilizedAny other duties assigned by the managementKCSE CertificateKATC Good communication skillsWell groomedApplications can be sent via email to rplrecruitment@yahoo.com by May 8, 2013. Applicants are also required to send their CV only.
