HBTC Program in Nairobi is in need of 5 interns for HIV testing and counseling in Mathare informal settlements for three months – commencing mid May.
Internship positions and its Educational requirements:Certificate in HIV counseling – certified by NASCOPCertificate in psychological counselingReady to travel door to door in sometimes difficult terrain and bad weatherA good team player and ready to combine efforts in achieving the project’s goalsCurrent resident of NairobiAvailable to be engaged for at least 2 weekends per month or more as neededLocation: Nairobi.
Language: Excellent spoken and written English and Kiswahili
Experience: No experience needed.
Appointment in the Internship program will be for three months. (During the period of Internship, the successful candidate will not be eligible for employment with the KEMRI/CDC Program within the three months of internship)
No compensation will be provided and successful candidates will need to cater for their own accommodation, upkeep and transport during this period.
