Head Miller – Arusha, Tanzania
A Diverse Agro Processing Company currently based in Arusha, Tanzania is seeking to recruit a Head Miller in Arusha, Tanzania.
The successful candidate MUST have previous working experience in a feed milling environment and production of animal feeds.
Key Responsibilities;
- Provide management leadership services for the feed milling operations.
- Responsible for management of the feed mill.
- Put in place new processes and procedures to ensure that the mill is running efficiently.
- Expense management and project management.
- Mill maintenance.
- Employee safety and employee engagement.
Qualifications;
- MUST have previous experience in a similar position in a feed milling environment.
- MUST have experience in the production of animal feeds.
- MUST have good working knowledge of the Tanzanian animal feeds market.
- MUST understand the dynamics around the raw materials in the animal feeds market.
- MUST have a minimum of 7 years working experience.
- MUST have a minimum of 2 years in senior management.
- MUST be computer literate.
- MUST have a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or related field.
- A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Monthly Gross Salary: Ksh. 127,000 – 255,000/= (Approx. 1,270 – 2,550 USD) depending on experience
