Position Title: Executive – Business Development & Activations
Reporting to: Head of Operations
The Executive BD & Activations will lead and oversee the development and growth of profitable new business; develop and maintain effective key customer relationships as well as ensure business growth through directing and managing business development activities.
Job Description
- Plan & Execute focussed activations for the clinics (Camps, CMEs, Road Shows, and Patient Education Programs etc)
- Create a plan around business development by initiating strategic tie-ups/corporate tie-ups for each clinic.
- Carrying out market research through industry contacts, publications, trade events, news to identify ideas for growth
- Reach out directly or through partners to target prospective business deals
- Filter out high potential deals by analyzing business strategies, opportunity requirements / pre-requisites / financials, and internal priorities
- Design the best negotiating strategies by considering the risks and rewards, and keeping in mind the counter-parties preferences & goals
- Lead the negotiation to close the deal and draw in resources from within the company to make it happen
- Manage all contractual requirements and align the end result with the company’s internal operations and capabilities
- Constantly keep upgrading your business development techniques, and help in enhancing the company knowledge base by participating in training and educational initiatives
- As the face of the organization, you will also help in building the brand of the company in the industry, vendor and customer community
- Create budget for the activations and calculate payback period
- Ensuring effectiveness of the program by personally monitoring the events
- Create and execute the plan for sectors such as banking, IT, manufacturing, and schools for wellness programs for their employees.

- Able to provide quality leadership to a team of sales people.
- Strong communication and IT fluency.
- Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations.
- Excellent time management and organization.
- 2-3yrs of working experience as a Sales & Marketing executive in health care industry.
