Social Media & Community Manager – Nairobi, Kenya

Our client based in the UK, who have launched an innovative new Digital Mobile Platform is looking to fill the position of a Social Media and Community Manager. 

The successful candidate MUST have experience working in Social Media and Community Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating, generating and adapting content for each of the major social media platforms.


• Creating ideas for initiatives, writing copy and managing the visual design process with the design agency.


• Social media management.


• Analyzing collected data to better campaigns.


• Processing data for non technical people to make informed decisions.


• Testing new strategies, new content, and new campaigns.


• Boosting posts and implementation of key words.


• Creating, targeting and analyzing digital advertisements/content across multiple platforms.


• Reacting and responding to changes on social networks, current events and in the industry.


• Communicating in various voices and tones.


• Setting the tone for the community, being present and enforcing community guidelines.

Qualifications;

• MUST have an IT or business related degree.


• MUST have a minimum of 5 years experience.


• Experience in building a community, in social media or any other platforms.


• Strong project management skills need to be demonstrated.


• Experience with Mobile App Install advertising is a plus.


• Ability to speak local Swahili and professional English.


• Ability to ask thought-provoking questions in an engaging way.

Monthly Gross Salary: Ksh. 150,000/= (Approx. 1,500 USD) depending on experience
