Apollo helps farmers in emerging markets increase their profits. We use agronomic machine learning, remote sensing, and mobile technology to help farmers access credit, high-quality farm inputs, and customized advice. Our first product is a customized package of farm inputs, farming advice, and credit delivered to farmers in Kenya.

Your Day-to-day

• Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems, and help develop solutions.


• Identifies, researches, and resolves routine technical problems of low complexity.


• Support with fixing PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software;


• Identify and escalate priority issues that need to be handled at a different level, and do the necessary follow up of users concerns.


• Develop and maintain user guides and documentation


• Participate in user training for basic hardware and software use


• Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

You

• Are a recent Diploma/Degree graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Information Technology.


• Have good understanding of computer networking, Linux Operating System


• Have 6+ months experience in a busy IT environment;


• Possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in teams in a multi-cultural environment;


• Are able to analyze, set priorities and complete tasks with minimum supervision to strict deadlines;


• Have initiative and a flexible, friendly and cooperative personality;

Those with specialized training in Computer Networking, IT Support or Linux Administration shall have an advantage.
