Key Accountabilities

Preparing financial reports

Maintaining up-to-date financial records

Manage the company’s cash flow

Ensuring strict financial controls

Statutory and Tax Management

Compliance with the relevant law

Duties and Responsibilities

Review documents and transactions in the
organization to ascertain compliance, accuracy, relevance, and reasonableness
of the transactions.

Preparing and submitting financial reports including
weekly, and monthly operating reports,

Preparing financial statements, audit reports,
inventory, and capital purchases.

Ensuring the transparency and efficiency of the
organization’s financial operations and safeguarding compliance with reporting
guidelines.

Maintain data integrity of financial records
including the General and subsidiary ledgers.

Ensure all financial transactions are properly and
timely updated and recorded.

Prepare weekly and month-end closing sales and
collection reports

Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend
changes to improve systems, Processes and financial performance.

Review accounting, account analysis and
reconciliation (banks, cash, Receivables, and payables).

Ensure statutory payments are completed and paid on
time (NHIF, PAYE, and NSSF), administering VAT and processing returns.

Update financial records by reviewing and posting
various General ledger journal entries with recent transactions and changes.

Managing debtors by following up on payments to
ensure the reduction of debtors

Manage the preparation of all management reports

Manage Payables and receivables

Organizing for inventory checks i.e., stock taking.

Any other duty that may be assigned from time to
time

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance,

3 -4 years of accounting/finance in a manufacturing
set-up

CPA finalist/K

Good at communication with the business department,

Integrity, honesty, liability, Self-learning,
self-driven and hard-working

Sensitive to figures, numbers, and data analysis
