Our client is seeking to hire
an Accounts & Admin Assistant Intern, who will play a crucial role in
managing financial records, assisting with payroll processing, and supporting
the overall accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, including
accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and expense reports.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial
statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
Process and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and
payments from customers and vendors.
Verify and post financial transactions to
appropriate accounts in the accounting system.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on
financial status, including cash flow, aging reports, and monthly/quarterly
financial statements.
Assist with the preparation and coordination of
audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to
support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
Assist in payroll processing, including maintaining
employee records, calculating wages, and preparing payroll reports.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in
the preparation and submission of tax filings.
Provide administrative support to the finance
department, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a
related field.
2 years of proven experience in a similar role,
preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices,
and procedures.
Proficiency in using accounting software and
financial management systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data
entry and financial record-keeping.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to
reconcile financial discrepancies and identify process improvements.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and
work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite,
particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
High level of integrity and confidentiality when
handling sensitive financial information.
