Title: Recovery
Officer (Advisor)

Required by a MICRO FINANCE institution.

This position entails managing
and overseeing the recovery process for delinquent accounts and working closely
with clients to facilitate repayment arrangements

Responsibilities  

• Continuously monitor outstanding debts and develop effective
  strategies for recovering owed funds
  
  
  


• Issue repossession instructions to auctioneers for the
  recovery of outstanding amounts and follow up to ensure adherence.


• Work with external agencies on debt collection and
  recoveries.


• Maintain records, files, and reports on all collection
  activity.


• Liaise with the Accounts department to reconcile transactions
  and to determine accurate outstanding amounts to clients.


• Identify system gaps and recommend better collection actions
  to the management.

Requirements

• Diploma in management or related field


• 3+ years of debt collection experience (recovery experience a
  plus)


• Excellent communication and time management skills


• Strong data analysis and reporting abilities, as well as
  proficient in IT skills
