Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise day to day operations in the transport departmentEnsure proper maintenance and routine inspection of vehicles as per the manufacturers standards and schedule regular serviceEnsure timely availability of vehicles by user departmentsEnsure efficient fuel managementManage vehicle, spare part procurement and storageManage, supervise, coach and develop team to enhance productivityHigher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantageAt least 3 years work experience in a similar positionComputer proficient and ability to generate management reportsPleasant personality and excellent communication skillsSupply Chain Officer

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for overall procurement of goods and services

Key Responsibilities

Participating in planning and implementation of procurement policies and maintaining comprehensive recordsCoordinating and dispatch of supplies to user departmentsStock taking, control and verification of suppliesMaintain and regularly update supplier databaseManaging contracts with suppliers and enhancing relationship with internal and external customersManage inventory of all assets and purchase process up to deliveryCoordinate proper disposal of obsolete assetsDiploma in procurement or supplies management from a recognised institution.
