 Purpose of the Role: The Warehouse / Stock Assistant works in a team with the Warehouse/Stock Officer, Procurement Department and reports to the Warehouse Officer. 
The purpose of the position is to provide a variety of warehousing and stock management responsibilities which include receiving of goods, storage, and distribution of goods, commodities movement data management and warehouses management.The Warehouse / Stock Assistant will be required to liaise and work closely with the Warehousing Team, Procurement & Logistics Team and Programmes Channel Teams to ensure that the core objectives of MSK are achieved.

 Purpose of the Role: This position reports to Deputy Director Programme Operations and is part of the Programmes Operations Strategy Unit. The purpose of the post is to ensure that MSK develops and manages excellently all the contractual obligations it has with donors, developing new ones with the team so that grant income continues to complement the income raised through MSK’s social enterprise model. 
While the channel implementing teams take responsibility for the day to day delivery of work according to our contracts, this post will provide essential coordination, oversight and follow up of MSK’s grant income whether at development, delivery or reporting stages. 
Working closely with the Finance Depts grant manager the primary outcome of this role will be satisfied and new donors.
 Grant development coordination and bidding
Developing together with Deputy Dir Progamme Operations and finance colleagues a pipeline of potential projectsIdentifying and responding to  new grant opportunities Working in close collaboration with field teams, gathering information needed and, with them, making convincing proposals (narrative and budgets) in accordance with donor guidelines in the furtherance of MSK strategy.  Providing training where needed on proposal and report- writing skillsGrant delivery and coordination of on-going progress reporting

Job framework – CHWs Coordinator - EC Project
Role: CHWs Coordinator – EC Project (new position)
Reports To: Project Officer - EC Project (new position)

Duty Station: Coast, based in Kwale County
Contract Type: Fixed Term- January 2013- December 2012
Build the capacity of community health workers (CHWs) to deliver integrated maternal, child and neonatal health (MNCH) and d sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, information and community based distribution of family planning (FP) commodities.
 Coordinate all community based initiatives under this project.Coordinate and manage a team of CHWs. This coordination will include; selection and recruitment of CHWs, regular team meetings, collection of CHWs monthly reports and monitoring and evaluation of community based activities.Develop and implement quarterly work plans to ensure smooth operation of community based initiatives.Coordinate mobilization initiatives for SRH services in MSK, public and private health facilities by the CHWs.Coordinate the distribution of IEC/BCC materials and family planning supplies through the CHWs.Foster linkages and build partnerships with community based agencies, key stakeholders, and partners.Establish strong community based referral networks and build the capacity of CHWs to act as referral agents to MSK, public and private health facilities.Two years NGO experience; experience in SRH would be an added advantage.Bachelor’s degree in community development, sociology or health.Proven track record of working with communities and understanding the GoK Community Strategy.Extensive knowledge of Ministry of Health core functions and systems.Strong report writing skills.Excellent written and spoken English.Excellent interpersonal skills, including cultural sensitivity, assertiveness and negotiating skills.Applications quoting the position title with detailed CVs with contact details of 3 referees (2 of which should be immediate former supervisors) should be submitted to:
