Finance Manager Kenya Jobs. Salary 70,000.

Our client, a Kenyan company committed to delivering technology driven secure healthcare solutions, with services provided to over 700 hospitals, pharmacies and general practitioner sites across East Africa, that enable patient authentication, verification of benefits and claims processing in a seamless process, is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to manage the financial functions including accounting, budget and forecasting, tax and treasury management, and provide management account and analysis.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the following key areas:

* Revenue collection: Forecast and develop revenue collection targets and establish systems and procedures to monitor revenue collections against anticipated targets and report on variances and give recommendations as appropriate. Analyse and make recommendations on the most efficient management of cash and financial resources
* Financial Accounting: Manage the process of financial accounting, confirming all financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures, international accounting standard and generally accepted accounting principles and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met with accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close reports produced and circulated to stakeholders as appropriate.
* Management Accounting: Prepare budgets and forecasts and performance benchmarks for the company and present accurate and timely financial management reports performance against budgets, variance analysis and recommendations as appropriate.
* Tax Management: Advise management of the most tax efficient structure and ensure statutory remittances are accurate and made on time.
* Employee Management: appoint, manage and develop competent staff and put in place performance management systems to ensure the desired results are realised
* Client Service – Interacting with clients on a regular basis, building strong client service relationship, resolving issues and anticipating problems, that ease the ability of the company to collect revenue and retain the business

Finance Job Position Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

* Over 5 years’ experience working in the finance department of a busy commercial enterprise, with at least 2 years’ experience at a supervisory level.
* Thorough understanding of the globally accepted accounting standards with preparation and supervision of basic accounting ledger entries and extraction of financial statements.
* Analytical thinking with good business and commercial awareness
* Quality orientated with high attention to detail and accuracy, strong analysis, judgment and problem solving skills.
* Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation

* Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines capable of working independently
* Very strong service orientation, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
* Self-motivated, resourceful and results oriented, with unquestionable integrity and a high regard for confidentiality
* A high degree of computer literacy, with working knowledge of an integrated financial account system and proficient in the use of MS Office packages.
* Degree Finance, Commerce, Accounting or related field and CPA (K) certified.

Remuneration: The starting salary for this position will be KShs 70,000gross per month, negotiable dependant on experience and demonstrable contribution.
