Corporate Sales Executives.

Our client is a leading shipping line operating in the East Africa region; it has been operating in
this space for a considerable period and has on its books long standing clientele. Building on this
success, the organisation is seeking to grow its client base in the region and is looking for
individuals who are willing to take on this challenge in this highly competitive sector.

The Role.
The Corporate Sales Executive’s primary responsibility will be to develop and grow a portfolio
based on agreed targets. You will identify potential clients and their needs, prepare appropriate
proposals and make winning presentations aimed at bringing them on board. You will be
expected to negotiate appropriate rates and terms of service and follow up to ensure that your
promises to the client are met i.e. you will need to work at client retention. You will of course be
expected to file the standard sales reports.

Requirements.
You will be a business graduate with a professional sales and/or marketing qualification
from an accredited institution.
You will have at least 3 year experience in sales; one of them should be in corporate sales or
business to business (b2b) sales.
Experience in sales in the shipping and logistics sector will be a definite advantage.
Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment will also be an advantage.
You will be a highly disciplined, tenacious and personable individual with a proven record of
selling success.
You must be well spoken and have strong presentation skills
