Assistant Sales Manager, Direct Sales Representative and Senior Marketing / Corporate Communication Executive Jobs in Kenya

Reporting To: Head of Department – Marketing & Business Development
Duty Station: Head Office (Nairobi)
Overall Responsibility
Responsible for training, executing, evaluating and managing the procedures and activities of the Sales team members to facilitate the overall Sales goals of the Company
 Key Tasks, Duties and ResponsibilitiesFormulating, articulating and implementing appropriate and effective sales strategies with a view to achieving business developmentPreparing, implementing and supervising weekly, monthly and quarterly sales promotional activities and development programs so as to identifying target markets/opportunities and assigning territories for the development of business for the companyDelivering monthly Sales targets and meeting cost budgetsConducting regular analyses of industry competitors and their strategies and reporting on the sameOverseeing the effective management of client relationships, interfacing with key client personnel, screening inquires and ensuring delivery of quality service to clientsManaging the Direct Sales Force and ensure that they are meeting their targetsPreparing ad hoc and regular reports for presentation and recommendation to managementPerforming Client advisory services and marketing the Company’s products to potential agents and customersAssisting in the preparation of sound business plans, sales forecasts and budgets as well as accurately measuring performance along metrics including revenues and profitabilityDeveloping sales pitches for the various company products and servicesManaging, mentoring, motivating and appraising the members of the Direct slaes Force to ensure peak performanceAssisting in the Recruitment and Training of the Direct Sales ForceUtilizing the market intelligence reports to improve performance and enhance the public knowledge and interest in the services offered by the organizationAssisting in the timely resolution of customer issuesActively participating in the product development initiatives of the CompanyManaging relationships through excellent customer relations in order to protect the company's exposure and maximize returns in a manner consistent with business strategyMonitoring and reviewing the performance of existing clients’ accountsAny other duties that may be assigned by the CEO/MD from time to time.Relevant experience with at least 2 years at a similar position.Various trainings in Sales &/MarketingA diploma in insurance will be an added advantageBusiness related degree or its equivalentComputer LiterateCan-do attitude, high energy, extroverted, motivating abilities, leadership qualitiesReporting & Presentation SkillsSuperior interpersonal & communication skillsSense of business urgency(2) Direct Sales Representative

Support the Marketing and Business Development initiatives especially in corporate communication, advertising, dissemination of information to both internal and external customers, branding, product development and company image enhancement.
 Key Tasks, Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in marketing company products through liaison with Marketing Executives in the regionsSoliciting for new business under the direction of Assistant Manager -Marketing and Business DevelopmentCarry out research on new products in the insurance industry and make recommendations as necessaryProvide logistical support in branding and product developmentWork closely with Support Services Department in ensuring quality and consistency of branded itemsPoint of contact with consultants related to corporate communications such as the Public Relations Company, Design Company and any other service providers in this fieldCoordinate design and distribution of branded company materialsAssist in organizing marketing or PR activities such as expos, golf tournaments, product launches etcParticipate in the production of the in-house magazine, including sourcing and editing articles, preparing and publishing of dummies and liaising with printers to ensure prompt and high quality production of issues.In consultation with the CEO handling the placement of the Company's official Congratulatory Message in newspaper supplements sponsored by clients and business partners as approved from time to timeImplementation of CSR policy under the direction of the CEOParticipate in website development and enhancementsAssist in developing company brand policy.
