Today DAC operates a growing fleet of aircraft comprised of de Havilland DHC-5 Buffalos, Dash 8 series 100, 200 300, Q400, Bombardier CL-600-2B19 (CRJ 200LR), Cessna Grand Caravans (EX model), and the Citation CJ4.

Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible to the Director of Quality Assurance for implementing a quality assurance system to monitor compliance with KCAA regulations.
Requirements:
- A degree holder in a related field is desirable.
- A technical qualification in the field of aircraft maintenance, flight or ground operations.
- At least three (3) years experience in the field of aircraft maintenance, flight or ground operations.
- Has successfully completed training in quality management recognized by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
- Must possess good communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be detail oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- To supervise the quality management system
- To ensure that the annual audit plan is carried out
- To monitor qualification of certifying personnel
- To perform evaluations, audits and inspections as part of quality assurance functions
- To identify and record any findings or concerns
- To collect objective evidence necessary to substantiate findings or concerns
- To initiate, recommend or provide solutions to findings or concerns through designated reporting channels.
- To monitor the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
- To maintain and update quality audit/ evaluation files.
- To verify the implementation of solutions.
- To communicate and coordinate through the Director of Quality, the Quality System Program activities with KCAA personnel on a regular basis.
Quality Inspector
The quality inspector is responsible to the Quality Assurance Manager for implementing a Quality Assurance System to monitor compliance with the Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations and Procedures of the company.
Requirements:
- A Holder of a license issued or validated by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, i.e. Pilot, dispatcher, cabin crew or ATC. Or
- Holder of an ISO/QMS Audit qualification from a recognized international organization.
- Holder of the above qualifications with training and experience in quality auditing is an added advantage.
- Has experience with aircraft types operated by the company or similar types for not less than three years.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure implementation of operations policy for the company fleet of aircraft.
- To ensure that the company’s fleet conforms to all requirements contained in the relevant KCAA advisory circulars and aircraft notices.
- To monitor the work environment to ensure it is appropriate for the work being carried out.
- To monitor the operational standards of the company’s fleet in conformity with the approved procedures.
- To liaise with and oversight of al contracted maintenance support organizations.
- To ensure the correct application of the MEL for the aircraft.
- To encourage open an open quality and safety culture in all the company’s operations
- To liaise as required on a day to day basis with the AMO and Flight operations.
- To report all significant operational matters to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- To ensure the implementation of recommendations and corrective actions contained in audit reports.
- To conduct audits to assess regulatory compliance, conformance with the company documented policies and procedures, and make recommendations associated with the company operations.
- To audit the ongoing AOC documentations on all operational activities.
- To conduct indoctrination training and any other in house training requirement.
- To ensure the duty time limitation programme is in compliance with the civil aviation regulations.
- To carry out periodic audits of the crew scheduling system.
Cabin Crew
Qualifications and Experience
- Academic achievements with a mean grade of C+ and above
- Must be at least 21 years of age but not above 29 years
- Minimum height of 5.5 ft and maximum weight of 62 Kgs (ladies), minimum height of 5.7 and maximum weight of 70 Kgs (gentlemen)
- Experience in customer service is desirable
- Good command of the English language.
- Fluency in French; (verbal, written and comprehension) an added advantage.
- Ability to swim and basic knowledge of first aid.
- Medically fit to meet regulatory requirements

- Possession of a valid cabin crew license.
