Vacancy: Human Resource Coordinator
Our client is a Manufacturing company producing high quality health food products.
They seek to recruit a dynamic young HR professional to coordinate their human resource department by planning, implementing and evaluating human resources policies, programs and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement all human resources activities and plans for the company.
- Develop and manage the HR budget process and implementation.
- Assists with development and implementation of performance evaluation and rewards systems.
- Assess training needs and develop and manage a staff training programme.
- Facilitate and coordinate all staff recruitment, staff induction and orientation in the company.
- Develop job descriptions with the managers.
- Propose policies and procedures for the HR policy manual based on the legislation.
- Monitor scheduled absences including; annual leave, travel and sickness.
- Coordinate actions to ensure staff absences are adequately covered.
- Establish and maintain employees’ data including personal files and other related records.
- Ensure proper administration and compliance to statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety programs.
- Manage employee situations such as: accidents, injuries, and WIBA.
- Liaise with insurance service providers.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in human resource management or other relevant field.
- Higher Diploma in HR is an added advantage
- Excellent knowledge labour laws and Government statutory policies.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail.
- Assertive and proactive.
- Planning, coordinating and organising skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 50,000 /=
