Area Manager Jobs In Kenya
ECLOF Kenya, an established and fast growing Christian Micro finance institution seeks to recruit a highly competent candidate to fill in the above position;
Job Purpose
The position is responsible for providing leadership to the Area / Region, planning and coordinating activities and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all operations within the Region assigned.
Area Manager Job Responsibilities
Ensure organization’s policies, procedures, and business plan are clearly explained, understood and implemented by all Business Units.
Manage the performance management process for the Business Units; targets setting, appraisals and evaluation within the Area/Region
Establish and nurture productive relationships with key stakeholders in the Region.
Submit accurate & timely monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the supervisor
Ensure cost effective implementation of all activities as per the Area budgets.
Ensure an effective staff management process is in place.
Advice on credit operations and provide market intelligence information to guide in policy formulation.Ensure adherence to effective checks and balances, procedures and clear audit trails within the Business Units.
Coordinate market surveys for new areas, potential markets and credit needs analysis within the Region.
Qualifications For Area Manager Jobs In Kenya
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or Social Science
Diploma in micro finance or banking field will be an added advantage
Competencies
Excellent communication skills
Leadership & management skills
Good implementation strategies and analytical skills
Good public relation & negotiation skills
Relevant Work Experience
At least seven (7) years’ work experience in a micro-finance institution three (3) years of which must have been as a branch manager
