Health Officer Job Main Purpose

To render quality occupational health services and holistic health care to all Unilever Kenya Limited employees.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out Occupational Heath surveillance for Foods, Welfare block, site and Warehouse and

Provide primary health care.

Ensure monthly medical records and reports.

Ensure Food handlers compliance with legislative and policy requirements.

Participate in the rollout of ART policy by monitoring VCT programs.

Management of sick off and return to work procedure.

Carry out Entry, Annual, Exit and inter departmental medical examinations for the employees.

Implement the OH site work plan & deliver KPIs.

Ensure OH surveillance – foods, warehouse, Canteen and general site areas.

Participate in OH and HIV/AIDs Education and Training Calendar.

Ensure surveillance reports for Foods, Welfare Block, Warehouse and general site areas.

Ensure daily primary health care records.

Ensure site vitality & healthcare programs – wellness, VCT, nutrition, etc.
Key Skills and Qualifications for Health Officer Jobs in Kenya


Diploma in Nursing

Certificate in Counselling, Occupational Health and Computer packages

Years of ‘Experience: 3-5years

High levels of drive and proactivity

Effective communication and Influencing Skills
