As part of our commitment to meeting our performance objectives, we are looking for top class individuals to fill vacant positions in Sales & Marketing Department.

Brand Manager

Reporting to Regional Sales & Marketing Manager – Sub-Saharan Africa, the job holder will co-ordinate Del Monte brand advertising and promotion and champion new product development process.

He/she will lead the development & execution of marketing strategies & plans for the Del Monte brand to maximise long-term volume & profit flow and increase the long-term value of the brand.

Brand Manager Job Responsibilities

Develop a portfolio strategy for the brand while ensuring maintenance of brand equity in all initiatives.

Establish and drive brand volume, share and profit objectives.

Build Key Accounts and distributor commitment to the Annual Marketing Plan covering Consumer and Sales objectives.

Develop and Implement Promotional activities.

Manage Commercialization and New Product Development process.

Manage Research process.

Maintain Brand essentials.

Activate Brand mix.

 

Qualifications For Brand Manager Jobs In Kenya

The candidates must be familiar with or have a solid background from a Multinational FMCG.

Well versed in working with sales, distribution, marketing and trade marketing areas.

Have a big and deep understanding for brands, sales, distribution, and marketing strategies.

Have at least 4-6 years of senior managerial work experience in a Sales environment with a total of 8+ years’ experience.

Personality Traits

Strategic consumer/ customer/ competitor and business thinking capacity.

Action oriented and capable of implementing.

High work capacity.

Strong leadership and sales team management skills.

Ability to communicate clearly and inspire the team and stake holders.

Dynamic personality and excellent interpersonal skills.

Mature with an age at least in the early to mid-thirties.

Fluent in both written and spoken English.
