Brand Track is currently recruiting for the position of Graphic Designer.
The holder of this position will report directly to the Production Manager
Graphic Designer Job Overall purpose of the role:
Create competitive graphic designs for the production department
Duties and Responsibilities
Producing visual solutions to the communication needs of clients, using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness
Produce Seps and Half Tone Seps
Interpreting the client’s business needs
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues
Create and produce new designs
Use innovation to redefine a design brief to meet the constraints of cost, time and client
Use a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design to come up with ideal seps
Produce accurate and high quality work
Keep abreast with developments in IT, particularly design programs
Check artwork for completeness and assure adherence to standards
Communicate clearly through the design to thePrinting and Production department to eliminate errors
Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed
Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations
Any other duty as may be delegated by the management
Minimum Qualifications for Graphic Designer Jobs in Kenya
Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design/Creative Arts
Two (2) years relevant experience
Competencies
Ability to operate a laser machine
Ability to operate a large format printing machine (HP and Roland Brand)
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
