Job Description
Our client, a Multinational FMCG company, is looking for a Senior Brand Manager, for their offices in Nairobi.
The successful candidate will manage and control the consistent profitable growth of a particular portfolio, guiding the category long term strategy and ensure yearly plans are developed, implemented and achieved both in Kenya and Export countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop communication objectives and advertising ideas.
Develop Brand Mix Plans.
Generate the demand (pull) while the sales function satisfies the supply (push).
Allocate budget by category and by market.
Develop campaigns to enhance brand equity.
Defend brand margins by managing Cost of goods.
Development of sound pricing structures and optimise category financials.
Analyse historical brand sales data and trend sales & build a forecast based on this data.
Innovate for the future.
Assist with the management of 3rd party agencies and external customers.
Qualifications:
A university degree in business administration or similar, MBA is an advantage.
At least 3years of experience in an FMCG environment and brand management.
Experience in brand management.
In depth understanding of business processes and principles.
Understanding of Sales & Marketing fundamentals.
Understanding of Marketing trends and anticipate them.
Project Management skills.
Basic Financial skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 250,000 – 300,000/= (Approx. 2,630 – 3,158 USD) Plus Medical Coverage and Car AllowanceDeadline: 5th July 2015
