Senior Interior Designer Job in Kenya

Our client, a dynamic Designing Company in East Africa is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with passion and commitment to drive the company’s vision. 

The successful candidate will be in charge of handling projects from concept to completion stage and MUST have Arch cad or AutoCAD skills as well as be conversant with Microsoft office programmes.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of projects and presenting to potential clients.


• Running high end interior project mainly specialized in mid to large scale residential projects.


• Responsible for generating, developing and implementing interior design concepts.


• Directing and overseeing the site deliverance from start to completion.


• Hold site meetings and site inspection with relevant consultants.


• Working with a team, delegating duties and providing support to other consultants.

 

Qualifications:

• Degree in interior design.


• At least 5 years professional experience.


• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.


• Knowledge of finishes, materials, packages and details.


• Experience in FF&E selection and coordinating designs process with other consultants.


• Excellent communication, presentation skills and attentive to details.


• Working knowledge of Kenyan building systems, regulations and construction methods.


• Free hand sketching skills.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 115,000 – 215,000/= (Approx. 1,150 – 2,150 USD) depending on experience & qualification
