Summary: Our client is a FMCG company looking for a Warehouse Team Leader.

Job Summary: Accountable for managing the LSP in-charge of on time & in full delivery of customer orders, inventory handling & holding, stock accuracy and Own (R&P) warehouse inventory management.

 

Primary Responsibilities:
 

Strategy

• Co-define and jointly execute the Warehouse and distribution strategy under the supervision of the Materials manager.

Process Control

• Manage stock controls while optimizing warehouse operations


• Ensure compliance to stock management procedures and regulatory requirements.


• Manage the stock transfers between PC Kenya and LSP location to ensure availability of stocks for sale.


• Account for raw and pack inventory variances.


• Account for raw and pack inventory shelf life management.


• Manage the security of the warehouse operations in-line with set procedures

Customer Service

• Monitor the LSP operations in regards to order pick, pack, deliver & reverse logistics process and documentation trail to achieve set KPIs.

Leadership

• Coaching and mentoring of direct reports


• Ensure compliance to OSHA/GMP & LSP contract requirements

Performance Monitoring
 

Manage the performance monitoring process for;

• OTIF SL commenting.


• LSP & 3PL transport service providers.


• Direct staff in span of control.


• Warehouse cost centre fixed cost development.


• Direct cost of sales – related to delivery of goods.


• Inventory variance development.


• Reverse logistics development.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant University degree with minimum 4 years’ experience within supply chain.


• SAP key user


• Strong analytical, communication, decision making and interpersonal skills


• Profound negotiation skills and ability to use networks to gain support for achieving business results.


• Attention to detail and accuracy.
