1. Technical Assistant to Managing Director

Job Description: He/she shall be collecting information / data / reports from various departments and consolidate data to prepare MIS reports.

Qualification requirement: Bachelor in Mathematics / Statistics / Business Administration
 

Experience requirement: Min. 5 years of similar experience; ideally worked as assistant to CEO/CFO/Director in  Mid to large size organization
            
Gender preference: Both

 

Salary range: Based on previous experience.
   
2. Banquet Supervisor Cum Sales Executive

Job Description: He/she shall be responsible for Sales & Marketing of various products offered by Lawns restaurant, more specifically banqueting & outside catering. 

He/she shall be visiting various corporate clients, handle all banquet & catering enquiries, supervise execution of banquet & catering events.

Qualification requirement: Bachelor in Hotel management

Experience requirement: Min. 5 years of similar experience; ideally worked as banquet executive in one of the well-known hotel in Kampala/Nairobi.

Other skills requirement: Fluent in written & oral English communication; Leadership skills to manage large events

Gender preference: Female preferred

Salary range: Based on previous experience.           
   
3. Captain

Job Description: He/she shall be responsible for taking customer order. 

He/she is expected to maximize sales by way of up-selling & cross-selling. 

He/she shall take care of customer extremely well and ensure that each customer is satisfied. 

His/her other duties include setting up of the dining area, managing team of servers/runners under them & closing duties at the end of day.

Qualification requirement: Bachelor preferred

Experience requirement: Min. 5 years of similar experience; ideally worked as Server / Captain in one of the well-known hotel/restaurant in Kampala/Nairobi.

Other skills requirement: Fluent in English communication; Leadership skills to manage large events

Gender preference: Both

Salary range: Based on previous experience.

4. Head Barman

Job Description: He/she shall be responsible for managing two bars at Lawns. 

He/she will be responsible for day to day operations of the bar including opening stock take, issuance of material from bar, preparatory work prior to opening of restaurant hours, beverage production & dispensing as per customer order, closing activities at the end of the day.

Qualification requirement: Bachelor 

Experience requirement: Min. 5 years of similar experience; ideally worked as Head barman in one of the well-known Bar/restaurant in Kampala/Nairobi.

Other skills requirement: Fluent in English

Gender preference: Both

Salary range: Based on previous experience.

5. Chef de partie – Live cooking station (Continental cooking)

Job Description: He/she shall be expert in meat grilling, variety of sauces preparation, bar snacks, etc. He/she shall assist Sous Chef / Executive Chef in whichever section help is required. 

He/she shall be cooking in front of customers in our Tapas Bar, and try to involve customers in ‘food talk’, interest them in our Menu, etc.

Qualification requirement: Bachelor 

Experience requirement: Min. 5 years of experience as CDP in continental section in one of the well-known hotel/restaurant in Kampala / Nairobi

Other skills requirement:  Excellent communication skills; Pleasant personality

Gender preference: Female preferred

Salary range: Based on previous experience.
