Our client a leading Water Bottling Company in Ethiopia is looking to fill the position of a Marketing Manager. 

The Company is experiencing rapid growth and it is seeking a well experienced, dynamic Market Manager with great ideas to help them achieve their growth and strategic goals. 

He / she MUST have FMCG experience and be willing to relocate to Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement media campaigns to create awareness and increase brand share.


• Develop awareness of product attributes through marketing campaigns.


• Create options for product packaging to align with brand attributes and profitability goals.


• Assess and recommend a master branding strategy and possibly a new product brand to target a new customer segment.


• Communicate and drive the brand attributes and brand strategy across the business units.


• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s customer base and develop marketing strategies to activate new customers.


• Actively track marketing campaign effectiveness.


• Develop and maintain competitor intelligence.


• Create pricing strategies in coordinate with the finance department.


• Implement and adapt a distribution strategy with a combination of direct and agent distribution.


• Tracks and analyze brand performance and initiatives.


• Recruit, manage and develop marketing personnel against agreed role descriptions and competencies.

Qualifications:

• Sector knowledge (water/beverages) is strongly preferred and significant FMCG experience is a must.


• Significant experience in East Africa


• 10-15 years of FMCG experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience in managing an FMCG brand and launching new products.


• Demonstrated results in developing marketing strategies that to increased market share and profitability.


• Strong sales experience is a plus.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 416, 600 –  500,000/= (Approx.  4,166 – 5,000 USD)depending on experience
