Support to implement the requirements of Company Oil EH&S MS in compliance with Company EHS MS and Safety Rules in drilling operations, and generating interface EH&S bridging document with principle drilling contractor;Provide technical advice and support in relation to the development, implementation and monitoring of EH&S plans and procedures;Advise on issues of compliance to Company EH&S policies and local regulatory EH&S requirements industrial best practices. Key responsibilities will include:
* Monitor and supervise the implementation of company policies and procedures on all field operations sites for drilling and related activities such as site civil preparation, rig/camp moves.

Job Purpose:
Execute and manage rig site operations to deliver the well objectives safely, with minimum environmental impact & within budget.
Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
HSE
Ensures HSE is given the highest priority in all elements of programme delivery.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education:
A tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline, (preferably in mechanical or petroleum engineering is preferred but not essential).
Valid Well Control certification.
Valid medical certification fit to work in remote African location.
Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 10 years supervision of Drilling and Completion Engineering / Operations. (Preferably in remote locations.)
Experience working on land rig operations in remote locations
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish good working relationships with team.
