Key Specifications and Requirements Type ratings on B206, B407, MD500 and AS350 helicopter series. Minimum of 10 years experience with min. 2000 hours total time. Min. 500 hrs external slinging experience incl. mountain flying with slung loads, drill-rig moves and other precision long-line work Trainer or specialized aerial spray and sling-work Experience of low level flying, survey flying and aerial spraying A proven Base / Operations Management capabilityChief Pilot / DFO- Helicopters DFO – Fixed Wing

Key Specifications and RequirementsCurrent ATP License At least 10 years experience as PIC Total Flying experience of 10,000hrs Embraer EMB-110 & EMB 120 type ratings Minimum 2000 hrs PIC experience on EMB -120 Aerial Spraying experience, specifically the spraying of oil –spill dispersant at low- level A proven Base/Operations Management capabilityKey Specifications and Requirements The Officer is responsible to the Commander to assist in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight in the event of incapacitation of the Commander, the officer will assume command. Carry out such duties concerning the flight in accordance with Company standard operating Procedures Represent and uphold company values to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Qualified on type ATR 42/72 CRM trained Holder of valid CPL/ATPL/Instrument Rating Operational background - at least 6months experience in multi-crew environment Minimum 1000 total flying hours of which 500 should be on the type (ATR42/72). Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsLicence recency as per TCAR requirementKey Specifications and Requirements Plan, and supervise the execution of company flights in accordance with legal and company policies and procedures authorized checklists and to ensure safe, efficient and economical operation Ensure that all operational procedures and checklists are complied with, in accordance with the Operations Manual. Represent and uphold company values to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty;Monitor and direct operating crew during flight and at out-stations to achieve high levels of discipline, morale and performance. Qualified on type ATR 42/72 CRM trained Holder of valid ATPL/Instrument Rating Operational background - at least 2 years experience in commercial air transport Minimum 3500 total flying hours of which 1500 should be on type (ATR42/72) as PIC. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills License recency as per TCAR requirementHow to Apply

ASARECA first Call for Concept Notes 2014

The Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA) has received grant funds from several development partners including: European Union and USAID East Africa, through the World Bank managed multi-donor trust fund; Swedish International Development Agency and the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center. 

ASARECA intends to use these funds to implement integrated regional agricultural research and development projects.
ASARECA, therefore, is pleased to issue its first Call for concept notes in 2014.This Call is open to applications from national public and private sector entities (such as National Agricultural Research Institutes, Universities, farmer organizations, agribusiness enterprises, NGOs, etc) operating in any of the 11 ASARECA member countries of Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. 
While the lead entities must be national organizations from within the ASARECA countries, they may seek, and are encouraged, to include other national, regional and/or international organizations, from within the eastern and central Africa region, as partners in the proposed projects.

OHS and First aid Trainer

ICT Fire & Rescue ICT Fire & Rescue is the only purpose built fire and first aid training college that has been established in Thika and is fully equipped with modern equipment and highly qualified trainers to cater for all fire fighting and first aid needs.

We are looking for Occupational Health & Safety trainer and a first aid trainer who will be responsible for training our clients and students in matters relating to Occupational Health and Safety and first aid as well as assisting with the implementation and follow-up with participants post training giving up to date advice OH&S and first aid matters

Key accountabilities for OSH trainer include:

Conduct OSH related trainingPrepare training materials and reportsProviding OHS information to the students, staff, and ICT ClientsQualifications and experience for OSH trainer:Occupational Safety and Health trainers should have a postgraduate certificate in OSH lasting not less than six months from a recognized institution,Have experience in a similar role.Be familiar with the legislative and statutory requirements of OH&S.Possess good oral and written communication skills.Demonstrate an ability to work in a challenging environment with a multinational workforce with minimal supervision and high ethical standards.Possess good computer skills.Have ability to work in a team.Key accountabilities for first aid trainer include:Conduct first aid related trainingPrepare training materials and reportsProviding first aid information to the students, staff, and ICT ClientsQualifications and experience for first aid trainer:First aid trainers should be qualified emergency medical technicians, nurses, clinical officers or medical doctors,Have experience in a similar role.Be familiar with the legislative and statutory requirements of first aid at workPossess good oral and written communication skills.Demonstrate an ability to work in a challenging environment with a multinational workforce with minimal supervision and high ethical standards.Possess good computer skills.Have ability to work in a team.Eligible applicants must submit a Curriculum Vitae with a cover letter, copy of Identity Card, copies of qualifications and three traceable references for the attention of the Human Resources, clearly stating the position applied to: Email: hr@ictcollege.org  by 12/10/2012Related Posts Widget for Blogger
