Teaching Jobs at Little Steps, Kenya
Little Steps, Kenya a Childcare Center for children 3 months to 5 years of age, is looking to fill the position of Caregiver (ECE Teachers).
Number of positions (10)
Position Objectives
Implement curriculum to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children
Engage children in positive conversation and age-appropriate development
Ensure children are supervised at all times
Monitor meal and snack time, guiding children in their eating abilities
Potty train children and diaper children
Oversee daily nap time
Keep parents informed through standard written and oral in-person daily updates
Ensure equipment and the facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times
Be familiar with emergency procedures and capable of carrying them out
Teaching Job Qualifications
Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECD or ECDE) or Montessori required
Formal experience taking care of children from newborns to 5 years required
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a grade of C+ or above required
Certificate of Good Conduct required
Fast, accurate typing ability and knowledge of computers required
Must be enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly
Oral, reading, and written fluency in English required
CPR and First aid certification a plus
