Job Description

NPO Manager in Kenya – External ResourceRequirements

Lead team of MS and off-shore NPO engineers in management and improving radio Radio KPI’s in 2G, 3G and LTE

Interface with customer on radio quality matters and meet the customers’ expectations and exceed KPI targets

Interface with MC team to provide inputs for radio network planning (2G, 3G and LTE)

Manage the execution of periodic network DT for all technologies and plan and execute corrective actions based on DT findings

Manage team to deliver quality and timely PM reports for all technologies.

Develop short term and long term plans for developing/ improving the performance of NPO team in MS environment.

Interface with off-shore delivery team to ensure timely and quality delivery of NPO requirements.

Drive the field operations, CS and PS core, BSS and OSS teams to ensure they provide right inputs to achieve the desired radio quality outputs

Qualifications

Proficiency in radio network technologies (3G, 2G, and LTE)

Minimum of 8 years working in Telecoms NPO with at least 3 years as a manager or team leader.

Good competence and experience in using radio NPO tools for (TEMs, ATOL, Coverage prediction tools etc)

Experience of working with Nokia/ NSN radio network equipment (BSS, OSS and UTRAN)

Good leadership skills (team management, communication, resource management, stakeholder management etc)

Good Personal competencies (proactive, self driven, highly motivated, able to work in a multicultural environment, able to stay focused even under pressure)
