AEA Limited is seeking to recruit a capable indivual to the vacant position of Technical Sales Manager – (Industrial Products). The incumbent will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned markets for Industrial Products (Industrial bearings, sprockets, chains and belts).

Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Industrial Products
Location: Nairobi
Position Reports to: Managing Director
Job Role: Overall Responsibility for sales activities for all industrial products.

Technical Sales Job Duties

Develop a business plans and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

Responsible for the performance and development of the division

Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.

Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

Provides timely feedback to the Managing Director regarding performance.

Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales and reports.

Involved in all tendering processes.

Sales and Marketing of Industrial service contracts

After sales service implementation.

Liaising with clients and consultants in projects management

Invoicing and debt collection for the on-going projects

Oversee distribution activities of the products

Strong leadership skills

Well proven problem solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills both internal & external.

Strong strategy formulation skills

Ability to display a high degree of professionalism and integrity

Strong commitment to organizational excellence

Highly developed sense of responsibility

Proven experience in the sales & marketing

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

HND or BSc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Sales & Marketing Qualifications

Experience working in a technical sales organisation

5 – 7 years’ experience

MS office applications
