Accountant Job Responsibilities

Running and maintaining a sound and elaborate accounting system that conforms to the in-house and

International Accounting Standards;

Preparing and submitting financial accounts;

Ensuring Donor Compliance Monitoring and Reviewing;

Managing petty cash and accounts records;

Preparing monthly statutory returns and ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines.
Qualifications For Accountant Jobs In Kenya

Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) or its equivalent from a recognized University

Should be a qualified Accountant (CPA K)

At least 3 years progressive experience in the field of Accounting/Finance

Experience in computerized accounting (prior knowledge of ACCPACC and Peach Tree accounting software will be an added advantage)

Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines

Excellent Communication and Analytical skills

Holder of a clean and valid driver’s licence
