Job Profile for Draughtsman / Woman
Job Purpose: To carry out detailed drafting work including translating and drawing conceptual designs into Architectural details, furniture details, object details, interior detail drawings and schematics designs using computer.
Job Description:
- Produce production ready drawings – ensuring the drawing programs are compatible with set plan.
- Clear communication about any variations or amendments to the architects plans.
- Ensuring conformance – to customer specifications, company standards as well as other regulation requirements.
- Assist in day-to-day department operations when necessary.
- Incorporates subdivision plats and drawing files into maps.
- Carries out the drafting requirements for new or existing projects.
- Prepares technical drawings and plans to be used in the production and construction of joinery
- Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects
- Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other data received from Architectural team to ensure that they conform to design concepts.
- Explain drawings to production teams and provide adjustments as necessary
Job Specifications
- Diploma in Architecture or Draughts Man/Woman ( Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- A minimum of 1 year work experience in similar position
- Competent knowledge in interior design, Interior Architecture
- Technical capability
- Communication proficiency
- Problem solving analysis
- Thoroughness
- Proactive and reliable person with ability take initiative
- Ability to apply Arch Cad 18, Artlantis, Sketch up and 3D renderings a must
