Job Profile for Draughtsman / Woman

Job Purpose: To carry out detailed drafting work including translating and drawing conceptual designs into Architectural details, furniture details, object details, interior detail drawings and schematics designs using computer.
 

Job Description: 

•  Produce production ready drawings – ensuring the drawing programs are compatible with set plan.


• Clear communication about any variations or amendments to the architects plans.


• Ensuring conformance – to customer specifications, company standards as well as other regulation requirements.


• Assist in day-to-day department operations when necessary.


• Incorporates subdivision plats and drawing files into maps.


• Carries out the drafting requirements for new or existing projects.


• Prepares technical drawings and plans to be used in the production and construction of joinery


• Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects


• Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other data received from Architectural team to ensure that they conform to design concepts.


• Explain drawings to production teams and provide adjustments as necessary

Job Specifications

• Diploma in Architecture or Draughts Man/Woman ( Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)


• A minimum of 1 year work experience in similar position


• Competent knowledge in interior design, Interior Architecture


• Technical capability


• Communication proficiency


• Problem solving analysis


• Thoroughness


• Proactive and reliable person with ability take initiative


• Ability to apply Arch Cad 18, Artlantis, Sketch up and 3D renderings a must
