Ecosafi Products Sales and Marketing Officer Job in Kenya

Ecosafi Products is an award winning enterprise specialized in making eco-friendly bags and printing of t-shirts. 

The proceeds from the sale are invested in our street youth NGO called Kito International that supports street youth and slum youth to become self sufficient. 

We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill our marketing position.

Job title: Sales and Marketing Officer

 
Reports to: Marketing Manager

 

Job purpose: Eco Safi is looking for sales and marketing representative based in Nairobi to generate new business and act as a contact between the enterprise, its existing and potential clients.

Duties and responsibilities

• Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.


• Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.


• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.


• Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.


• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.


• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.


• Establishing personal networks and benchmarking best practices.


• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• At least a minimum of O level or its equivalent.


• Fluent in spoken and written English and Swahili.


• Good Negotiation, Prospecting, Presentation Skills.


• Able to work independently, develop sales plans and maintain client relationships.


• Excellence, Motivation for Sales, Creativity, result-oriented and good leadership skills.


• At least 1 year experience in sales and marketing.


• Knowledge of Nairobi and its environs is preferred.
