Investment / Private Equity Manager

An SME Investment Company with interests in trading, stocks, land development, real estate, and infrastructure projects is looking for a dynamic manager for the above portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Origination and assessing business opportunity’s desirability


• Execution: Structuring and negotiating the detailed terms of a business opportunity.


• Investments should increase profitability, safeguard market position, diversify, etc.


• Equity capital markets: Advising on how much capital to invest in.


• Thoroughly researching market conditions and developments.


• Identifying new business investments opportunities.


• Carrying out financial modelling, then developing and presenting appropriate financial solutions.


• Liaising with the chief executive


• Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information.


• Creating statistical exhibits that analyze comparative financial performance.


• Building models to illustrate projected financial results and value to company.


• Performing valuations


• Participating in the execution of financings and M&A transactions.


• Managing and assisting in the execution of corporate finance transactions.


• Performing financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research.


• Providing rapid and accurate market judgments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required, with preference given to engineering, Building/Land Economics, Actuarial Science, Commerce, Business or equivalent plus CFA.


• Minimum of  5 years of experience in Assets Management, Stock exchange with a truck record on sound investments


• Must be below age of 40 years


• Good English language skills (written and spoken)
