Position: Bar Manager
 

General overview of Duties and Responsibilities
 

We are seeking qualified applicants to join our professional restaurant team. 

 

The successful candidate should have a strong ethic, be responsible for restaurant operations per their designation and ensuring our high standards level are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing Bar stock and overseeing accurate cash-up procedures, ensuring necessary paperwork is complete and monitoring  prices and sales 


• Organizing staff rotas to ensure that there is enough manpower to run the shift effectively


• Oversee all operational Management duties of the bar and restaurant to meet the laid standards and objectives


• Train, motivate and delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources


• Organize and adjust staff rotas and schedules in accordance with available  resources and labor regulations


• Stay current with relevant legislation regarding service of alcohol, sale of tobacco and licensing


• Promote and practice compliance with fire, health, safety and hygiene standards and regulations


• Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards


• Resolve customer complaints promptly


• Uphold all company standards and procedures, delivering the best service while creating an exciting exclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Minimum of two years working experience in the management of a bar or beverage service operation.


• 25-30 years  of Age


• A minimum grade of  C+ in K.C.S.E


• Exceptional communication skills and great customer service skills


• Superior food and beverage knowledge


• Excellent attention to detail


• Exceptional ability to multi task


• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and cost control procedures


• Complete working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages


• Immaculate personal grooming and presentation


• A positive attitude, enthusiastic personality and a winning smile


• Should be able to work under minimum supervision.
