Sales Representative Job Vacancy in Nairobi, Kenya

Duma Works is recruiting a Sales Representative for one of our clients

They development unique creative designs, artistic finishing, functional solutions, outstanding quality and have a never failing will to pursue perfection and make the impossible possible.
 

General Purpose: This function carries out the end to end process of selling the organisation’s products thereby growing the revenue of the organisation.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.


• Develop and maintain relationships with new clients in person and via telephone calls and emails.


• Prospect for new business, make cold calls to arrange meetings with potential customers.


• Respond to incoming email and phone inquiries from potential clients.


• Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales.


• Gather market information.


• Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss sales activation opportunities.


• Create detailed proposal documents.


• Gain a clear understanding of clients’ businesses and their specific requirements.


• Continually seek self-improvement avenues, attend and contribute to team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.


• At least 2 years’ experience in sales within the service industry, preferably in events and branding.

Key Competencies

• Well organised.


• Excellent written and spoken communication.


• Good negotiation skills.


• Proven ability to sell services.
