Summary: Our client is a boutique financial advisory firm based in Nairobi with presence in East and Southern Africa Region. 

With a team of experts, they focus on businesses that are shaping the economies of the countries in which they operate in.

 

Job Summary: Our Client is looking for a dynamic and creative research analyst to lead the market research team.

The Senior Researcher is responsible for leading – from end to end – the analytical research work flow. 

The individual will drive the production of stock reports, industry reports and market wrap-ups for display and distribution to customers or third party publishers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create workflow of research including but not limited to market alerts, stock highlights, and industry outlooks


• Maintain and develop the data warehouse & back-end processes


• Provide general and analytical support as required


• Undertake other projects as requested on an ad hoc basis


• Create and manage new deal flow while originating new client engagements that fit the strategy of the firm

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelors’ degree or equivalent


• Excellent written and oral communications skills


• Firm understanding of financial reporting & equity analysis


• Min of 5 Years of experience within the industry


• Programming capabilities


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
