JOB SUMMARY
We are a sole agent, appointed by the manufactures of canon safes to distribute all fire proof safes and cabinets. We have been in the industry for the last 5 years. We have employed 25 staff members including 3 well experienced technicians with over 20 years of experience in installing, repairing, relocating and maintaining any brand of safe.
Our security products have been approved and used by the government, manufacturing industries, banking sector, NGO’S and individuals.
The Sales executive is responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions and managing quality and consistency of product and service delivery.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES For Sales staff
1. Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
2. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
3. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
4. Identify sales prospects and contact and other accounts as assigned.
5. Prepare sales presentations and proposals.
6. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
7. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
8. Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
9. Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-ups.
10. Identify and resolve client concerns.
11. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
12. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
13. Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
SALES ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
2. Follow-up for collection of payment.
3. Should be proficient both over the phone and face to face and be comfortable with closing big deals.
4. Taking responsibility for the Company brand.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
2. Ability to persuade and influence others.
3. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
4. Ability to create, composes, and edits written materials.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques with a strong ability to persuade and influence others, work on own initiative, develop and deliver presentations and must have excellent sales and negotiation skills and strong communication skills
7. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
8. Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state driver’s license within 60 days of employment.
9. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s Degree/ A Diploma in Sales and Marketing would be an added advantage.
Two (2) to four (4) years of sales or marketing experience.
