Our client a well established International Manufacturing Company is looking to fill the position of
Sales Engineer. The successful candidate will be involved in generating sales of the company for Tanzania steam users and achieve great sales. He/she MUST be a Tanzania National.Visit customers on a regular basis to create product demand through technical selling.Advise and carry out suitable commissioning, service, repair or replacement of “The Company’s” equipment to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding of our products.
To cooperate with local distributors and assist with technical knowledge transfer .Develop good relations and trust with customer base, focusing on key customer groups.Report on sales activity and actions taken in the field for continuous improvement.Generate visit reports and customer database details to enable sales growth through knowledge transfer and implementation.Ensure thorough knowledge of ”The Company’s” products required for different steam using industries and applications.Assist customer with installation and commissioning of electronic controls, electrical and mechanical components. Specific attention will be for Electronic and electrical systems.Handle commercial and technical correspondence and create required quotations.Liaise effectively at all customer staff levels up to managing director level.Good spoken and written English.Educated to a minimum HNC/HND level in mechanical and electro/instrumentationSuitable competency in Windows computing, Word, Access database, excel and power point with some experience in AUTOCAD drawing. Computer driving license.Electronic / Electrical competency with basic electronic communication languageAbility to work on your own and in a teamMinimum 5 years driving vehicle experienceA flexible approach to work and hours.A willingness to travel and stay on overnight trips.
