Civil Engineer (On Contract) – Nairobi, Kenya
 

Our client, a well – established Construction Company that provides water solutions is seeking to hire a Civil Engineer on a 2 month Contract basis. 

The successful candidate MUST have relevant experience in engineering and on site project management.

Key Responsibilities;

• Analyze survey reports and other topographical or geologic data plan projects.


• Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures.


• Following construction and governments standards.


• Manage & process customer complaints and/or new requirement processes.


• Compute, load and grade requirements to determine design specifications.


• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance.


• Direct construction, operations and maintenance activities at project site.


• Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations.


• Establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide construction.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications;

• Must have 2 years working experience in civil engineering.


• Must have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology.


• Must have building and construction knowledge of materials.


• Must have Mathematics knowledge and its applications.


• Must have Design knowledge of design techniques and models.


• Computer literate.


• Ability to work under minimum supervision.


• Good written and spoken English.

Monthly Gross Salary: Ksh. 2,000 – 2,500/= Per day (Approx. 20 – 25 USD)
