Position: Director / Manager (Technology)
Company Profile: Our client operates higher education institutions in sub Saharan Africa
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the selection, implementation and operation of an ERP system.
- Build and manage a team to supervise the ERP and other technological innovations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Developmental skills including programming experience in SQL, Visual Basic, VBA, C# and other relevant languages
- Strong knowledge of modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems including management of personnel, implementation and development experience
- Sub- Saharan Africa experience
- Fluent in English
- Kenyan/East Africa work authorization
- Frequent travel within Africa
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a leading university in relevant discipline (Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering)
- 8+ years work experience (minimum 4 years in Information Systems)
- 4+ years of general business experience including familiarity with budgeting and procurement
