Vacancy: Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager will be based in either Central and Rift Valley or Eastern and Coast.
This person will be responsible for the following:
- Directs the Sales Representatives to achieve sales and profit goals within a region.
- Provide guidance of Sales Representatives daily, monthly, and quarter work plan in accordance with the formulated strategies
- Plan to ensure achievement of Regional and Individual Sales Representatives target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
- Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the Sales Representatives to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieve and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
- Manage Sales Representatives to ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition
- Recruit new staff into team focusing on strong sales competencies and ensure that they perform well through coaching and monitoring skill
- Conduct regular sales and business reviews to evaluate Sales Representative performance
- Lead the top-to-top meeting with key customers to ensure strong relationship and remove business obstacles, aligning with long term company direction
- Manages multiple territories within a region and adjusts sales goals as appropriate for each territory.
- Design and recommend sales programs and set short- and long-term sales strategies.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region’s sales volume.
- Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
- Reviewing objectives of all sales people in close liaison with Business Development Manager.
- Reviewing training requirements of Sales Representatives as necessary
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related area, and at least 5 years of experience in the field.
- Experience in Area Sales Management at least 3 years, prior experience in solar industry is preferred.
- Ability to drive a car and work in upcountry
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to multi task to achieve a variety of tasks.
- Can lead and direct the work of others.
