Finance Manager for a medium sized firm. Salary Gross of k’sh 120,000.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the holder of this position will be responsible for
Timely preparation of financial and management accounts for decision making.
Full tax compliance in accordance with international accounting standards.
Oversee and manage effective implementation of the set Key results areas in Finance.
Liaise with external auditors in preparation of management Accounts and implement their recommendations as per the management letter.
Prepare corporate budget by consolidating departmental budget.
Implementation of budgetary control process to ensure adherence of the set budget.
Preparation of yearly Performance targets for performance contracting with the Government and submitting of quarterly and yearly performance reports.
Monitor and generate management reports on treasury performance and advise the Board on adequacy of existing banking facility.
Facilitate effective Stock management by advising management on the same through the various management committees
Facilitate risk control assessments in prevention of frauds through implementation of appropriate internal controls.
Adhere to the Corporate Strategy and conducting performance review of the same.
Overall supervision of department staff.

Qualifications
Business related degree specializing in Accounting or Finance.
Qualified holder of CPA (K) or ACCA with at least 6 years post qualification experience.
Computer literate with hands on experience in use of an Enterprise Resource Planning tool (ERP)
At least six (6) years working experience with at least three (3) years being in a senior accounting position.
Good planner, organizer and effective decision maker.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Reporting to the Sales Director, Business Development Manager will be accountable for:
* Creating a business development and sales strategies to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability;
* Developing competitive pricing on all products, maintaining maximum profit margin.
* Developing a solid funnel of sales opportunities, following up on leads given by other cross functional teams, conducting competitive proposal presentations and RFP responses, etc.
* Developing and maintaining a comprehensive client database
* Leading and coaching Account Executives in the effective search and conversion of sales leads and prospects in current and new markets
* Leading the recruitment and performance management of Account Executives
* Liaising with the Marketing department to ensure regular distribution of client publications and updating of product/course materials
* Working closely with vendors and partners to pursue client leads and new products training as well as keep abreast with their strategy plans and market trends
* Preparation of regular reports as required

The following competencies will be the key to successful performance in this role:
* At least 5 years’ experience in selling, closing deals, and developing business in a competitive environment.
* Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships, outgoing, confident and resilient individual, excellent communicator with good presentation skills, self-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets.
* Demonstrated record of strong leadership and be able to lead by example.
* An appreciation of IT products such as CISCO, Juniper, Oracle, Sun and others would be beneficial, however it is not mandatory. Training on products will be provided to the successful candidate.
* A university degree in a business related or IT related field

The starting salary for this position will be KShs 300,000/- gross per month, commensurate with the skill and value the incumbent will bring to the table, plus a significant bonus for achieving and/or surpassing targets.

Credit Controller Jobs Kenya.

Our clients, an importer, assembler, distributor, service, and repair company in the motor vehicle industry is looking to hire a Credit Controller reporting to the Financial Manager. The main responsibility of this role is deal with all debtors and make sure that the company is making profits.

The Primary Duties of this role will include:
• Check new customers and open new credit accounts ensuring the company has all the relevant information
on the debtor.
• Resolving all problems for the clients, copy invoices, proof of delivery, credit notes and liaise internally to
progress any problems that are being handled in any other department.
• Reconciliation of accounts.
• Reporting to the financial manager on outstanding issues and informs him in advance on potential debtors’
problems.
• Making up follow up in payments with the banks.
• Giving periodic reports to the financial manager on how all the customers accounts are progressing.
